The PAPA System D-STAR community owes IRA, KI6TPX, a big Thank You!!! With Ira’s efforts, the “gamble” we took as noted below has paid off – EVERYONE’S D-STAR GATEWAY REGISTRATION HAS BEEN RESTORED, and you can begin to use D4 again for Gateway calls and for linking. You do not really need to do anything – and again YOU ARE GOOD TO GO and use D4 as before except with the new KJ6BWR call sign.
Remember.....make sure you edit your code plugs and change all instances of KF6BQK to KJ6BWR.....

What was the reason for the repeater call sign change?

On February 6, 2010 the Papa System received an e-mail from WB6HTS informing us that we will no longer have the use of the call sign KF6BQK and frequency 449085. Also stating that you and your wife did no longer care to continue the membership in the Papa System. The Papa System has complied to your request.
